I am Austin home builder one of those people that most would consider weird since my style is far different from the norm, As a result, the things that most people like are not up my alley at all. I am looking for a property to buy and everyone is telling me that I should look at new homes. While this seems like a good idea for most people, I am worried about the fact that most of the new places that are being constructed lack the character I associate with buying a home and making it your own.
I am thinking that it would be best if I bought a home that has been around for quite some time. The details that were put into those places will give me something to talk about when people come to visit. This will be far more interesting than sitting around talking about why my house looks exactly like the one that is around the corner and super similar to the one that is across the street. Being that mundane would probably make me lose my mind; I am definitely going with an older home.
